Pop Zest's Cheesy Buffalo Dip
This creamy, spicy and tangy dip is the perfect pairing for pita chips, tortilla chips and celery sticks!
-3 Tbsp Artisan Cheese Pop Zest
-1 15oz can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
-1/2 block (7oz) firm tofu- drained
-1/3 cup hot sauce, like Frank's Red Hot
-2 Tbsp vegan mayo
-2 Tbsp tahini
-1 tsp garlic powder
-1 tsp onion powder
-1 Tbsp chopped scallion or chives
-Pita chips, to serve
1) Thoroughly mix the hot sauce, Artisan Cheese Pop Zest, vegan mayo, tahini, onion powder and garlic powder in a medium bowl until well combined.
2) Place the chickpeas and tofu in a food processor and blend until smooth, adding the hot sauce in thirds until fully combined.
3) Refrigerate 1-2 hours or until ready to serve. Serve with pita chips or pita bread and garnish with fresh scallion or chives, if desired.
